Abilities Unlimited LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs. Services may be provided in the client’s home, school, community, or other approved settings.
The RBT works directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while reducing behaviors that interfere with learning, independence, or safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy according to treatment plans and protocols developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Implement skill-acquisition, behavior-reduction, and replacement-behavior programs with consistency and treatment integrity.
- Collect accurate and timely data on client goals and behavior throughout each session.
- Complete required session documentation and clinical notes within established company timelines.
- Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), safety procedures, and clinical recommendations.
- Use reinforcement, prompting, modeling, natural environment teaching, and other ABA procedures as directed by the BCBA.
- Participate in BCBA supervision, competency checks, training, and ongoing performance feedback.
- Maintain professional communication with caregivers, school personnel, supervisors, and other members of the treatment team.
- Protect client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, BACB requirements, company policies, and applicable payer requirements.
- Maintain professional boundaries and represent Abilities Unlimited appropriately in all service settings.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold, or be eligible to obtain, an active Registered Behavior Technician credential through the BACB. Candidates must be dependable, professional, comfortable working independently in community-based settings, receptive to clinical feedback, and capable of accurately following written treatment protocols.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned client locations are required.
